Who, why, what, where?

Turning passion into pleasure and profit. I've always had a dream to have a cake business, whether it was a stall in a market to supplying cafes with the tastiest high-quality cakes or even having a tea shop - it was there, buried away whilst my creative streak took me in other directions. Over the years, I've been on a number of cookery courses (Divertimenti, Leiths, Books for Cooks, Squires) but always got pulled back to baking, trying new recipes, tweaking old ones, getting inspiration from foodie visits to other countries, looking up my mother's cookery books, reading food magazines in bed (!) and always experimenting with seasonal or local produce, unusual flavours and quality ingredients.

They say that if you follow your passion, you’ll be successful! I believe that to be true and in my quest to achieve that dream, I also intend on having fun along this path.
